The Wave Questions

                                                  Wave Questions

1.) Movements like the wave can be defeated by going against it and not worry about what may happen to you. You could form a group of people who agree with your opinion and band together against the leader of the movement. You could also try to talk to the leader and ask if he could end the movement. Another way that movements like the Wave could be defeated is you could announce an assembly for only the members of the movement and then when everyone is seated, tell them that the movement has come to an end and they can go back to how everything was, like the movement never even existed. Those are ways that movements like the Wave can be defeated.

2.) This film says that authority and power can be a bad thing if you use it to manipulate people into joining a movement like the wave. At first they might agree to it, but as it continues they'd realize that the joke should have ended right away. Some people might continue to go along with it but, others will try to bring it to an end. Authority and Power are nothing if you don't know how to use it for anything other than manipulation. That is what this film says about authority and power.

3.)What the experiment says about the cause of the Holocaust is that Hitler went after the uneducated people and told them how the Jews were the reason they lost the war and that all of the Jewish people should be killed.  The Nazis all believed that Hitler was telling them the truth. Hitler despised the Jews so much that he blamed them for losing the war and wanted them dead. The Wave was an experiment that got out of hand just like the Holocaust became a dangerous time for all of the Jews. That is what i think the experiment says about the cause of the Holocaust.
